Our Story

About BridgeWays

Bridgeways is a NDIS registered organisation that provides Support Coordination.

At Bridgeways, our mission began with a single, powerful belief: that every person with a disability deserves the confidence and clarity to make choices about their own life. Fuelled by a passion for compassionate, high-quality care and guided by grit and resilience, we founded Bridgeways in 2025—to empower, inspire, and walk alongside people as they create their own path.

We will help you with different things depending on which level of support coordination you need and what your goals, needs and circumstances are.

Plan Guidance

How Support Coordination gets included in a plan

Support Coordination is funded when it is considered “Reasonable and Necessary” to pursue your goals.

How Support Coordination gets included in a plan

  • Support Coordination is funded if considered “Reasonable and Necessary” to pursue your goals
  • It will consider what support you are already getting from your friends, family and community or government services
  • It is a fixed amount in your “Capacity Building” budget to help you use and understand your plan
  • If your plan states the level of support coordination funded, you can use only that level
  • If no level is stated, you can choose the level of support coordination that best suits your needs
  • This is generally a “Stated” Support which means you can not use this funding for any other purpose

If you have a NDIS plan in new pace system

The participant or (nominee) must endorse their Support Coordinator as “My Provider” by calling NDIS National Contact Centre or via “My NDIS Portal”. This endorsement authorises a service provider to deliver services under their Ndis Plans and ensures that the support coordinator is recognised and approved for payment.

Providing consent to your support coordinator

You must provide consent to your Support Coordinator for them to view funding component amounts in your NDIS Plan. They do not automatically see this information.

Have Questions?

Common Questions & Answers

The 'my NDIS' provider portal is used exclusively for participants with plans managed under PACE, while the 'myplace' portal caters to those with previous system (PRODA) plans.
PACE is the NDIS’s new computer system used to create and manage plans. It gives participants more control, flexibility and transparency, featuring simplified funding categories, faster payments and removing the need for service bookings in favour of provider endorsements making it easier to manage funds
The plan will display in the “myNDIS” participant portal and app. The legacy PRODA system plans are still using the “myplace” portal.
Endorsement is the process whereby participants, their nominee, or guardian authorises a service provider to deliver services under their NDIS plan. This endorsement ensures that providers are recognised and approved for payment in PACE Plans.
For plan-managed participants, as long as the plan manager is endorsed, payments will proceed as usual. Agency-managed participants must ensure all providers are endorsed to avoid payment issues. Self-managed participants have the flexibility of not needing endorsements.
Participants need to endorse a provider in the new PACE system when they sign up for the first time, start a new plan, change providers, or renew their existing plan. Without this, services and payments might be delayed. Certain providers will not get paid at all if they are not endorsed.
No, they will need your specific consent for them to view funding amounts
A funding period is the time within your NDIS Plan when your NDIS money is available to spend. Funding periods are introduced to help participants manage their funding by providing access to regular, manageable amounts over time rather than all at once.
Support Coordination funding is a fixed amount. How it is used must align with your plan goals and NDIS rules.
STATED support in your plan means that funding can be used only for the STATED purpose and cannot be used for other supports
If your needs change, you can discuss this with your Support Coordinator and request a plan reassessment or review.
Support Coordination is charged in blocks of time. This covers face-to-face support, like meetings and calls, as well as other tasks such as contacting service providers, making referrals, preparing NDIA reports, and researching to help you reach your goals.
